We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician with rack refrigeration experience to join our Facilities Maintenance team. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems across Walmart stores. You will use a variety of tools (hand tools, digital tools, and power tools) while ensuring safety, compliance, and timely service.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in commercial rack refrigeration maintenance
Large-scale rack refrigeration experience (required)
EPA Certification: Universal or Type I, Type II for refrigerant handling
Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record (must pass MVR)
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
What You’ll Do
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot Walmart refrigeration and HVAC systems
Use the work order management system to track and document repairs
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose issues
Follow all OSHA and EPA safety regulations and Walmart environmental guidelines
Complete all required safety and equipment training
Lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, and climb ladders as needed
