Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall/Painter with 3+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction. The ideal candidate will be proficient in drywall installation, finishing, texturing, patching, and painting, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing professional results.
Key Responsibilities
Install, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to smooth or textured finishes.
Perform drywall repairs, patching, and touch-ups.
Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, priming, and masking areas.
Match and mix paints to achieve required colors and finishes.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site.
Adhere to company safety standards and OSHA requirements.
Work collaboratively with crew members, lead carpenters, and supervisors to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality results.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven drywall and painting experience.
Skills:
Proficient in drywall installation, repair, and finishing techniques.
Skilled in surface preparation and painting methods.
Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications.
Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering professional finishes.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand, kneel, and climb ladders/scaffolding for extended periods.
Other: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and own basic tools required.
Preferred Qualities
Experience working on both residential remodels and commercial projects.
Familiarity with a wide range of textures and finishes.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
$22-$35
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO and Holidays after 90 day probationary period.
