Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Take and document vital signs, medical imaging, and other necessary patient information.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of patient records.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and provide compassionate care.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
