Join Our Team as a Community Victim Advocate
About the Role: At Compensate Community, we believe no victim should feel lost or alone while navigating the aftermath of a crime. Our advocates are the bridge — guiding survivors through the victim compensation process, helping them access covered expenses, and offering compassionate support when it’s needed most.
As a Community Victim Advocate, you’ll:

Walk alongside victims and survivors of crime, helping them apply for state victim compensation programs.
Provide step-by-step guidance, from intake to claim submission.
Offer trauma-informed support and connect victims with resources like mental health counseling, housing, transportation, and more.
Collaborate with law enforcement, medical providers, and community partners to ensure claims are complete and accurate.
Empower victims by simplifying a process that can feel overwhelming and time-sensitive.
