Alsco Aviation is an FAA-Certified Aircraft Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft wheels, brakes, and batteries. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Wheel & Brake Technician with aviation maintenance experience to join our team.
Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and overhaul aircraft wheels and brakes in accordance with FAA, OEM, and customer requirements.
Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs with accuracy and accountability.
Sign off and be responsible for all maintenance performed.
Operate in a fast-paced aviation maintenance environment while meeting performance goals.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
2+ years of aviation maintenance experience, including NDT (ET, MT, PT) preferred.
A&P License required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and performing physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
Familiarity with technical publications related to aircraft wheels and brakes.
Respirator fit eligible.
Preferred Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions.
Prior NDT experience a plus.
Work Environment
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule.
Must tolerate working in a noisy environment with moving parts, vibrations, and aviation maintenance materials.
