Field Service Manager

JCS, a leader in food processing systems development, is seeking a proven Field Service Engineering Manager to lead and grow our service organization. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced manager who enjoys collaborating to take on complex projects and thrives in an environment where no day is like the last.

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage a team of field service engineers and technicians, ensuring high-quality support for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and warranty service.
Drive operational excellence through scheduling, resource allocation, process improvements, and adherence to SOPs.
Oversee project profitability, budgets, and metrics to improve service efficiency and financial performance.
Build and execute training programs to strengthen technical capability, service consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Develop career paths and mentoring programs to grow and retain technical talent.
Partner with internal engineering and project teams to ensure successful delivery for customers.
Expand service offerings through part sales, preventative maintenance contracts, and customer-focused initiatives.
Implement root cause analysis and continuous improvement practices across all service operations.

What You Bring

5+ years of leadership experience in field service, maintenance, or project management within food processing, automation, or a related manufacturing industry.
Strong track record of supervising and developing teams, including subcontractors.
Proven ability to plan and deliver large-scale, complex service projects while driving profitability.
Solid knowledge of P&IDs, system drawings, and project management practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable working across teams and with customers.
Proficiency with MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel (domestic and international) for site work, 1 day to 2 weeks at a time.
