Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (includes a 30 min. unpaid lunch) Reports To: Operations
Pay Range: $25.00 $33.00
Position Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in managing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory oversight, material flow, and communication with production leads and clients. This position ensures products and materials move efficiently, accurately, and on time to support both production needs and customer satisfaction. As the business grows, this role may expand to include leadership and oversight of the Inventory Control Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
Verify, record, and prepare all incoming and outgoing shipments
Inspect materials for accuracy and quality, resolving discrepancies with suppliers
Package, label, and palletize outgoing products per company and customer requirements
Create shipping documentation (BOLs, pack slips, labels) and coordinate with carriers
Track shipments and provide timely status updates to clients
Inventory Oversight
Maintain accurate ERP-based inventory records
Conduct bin transfers, counts for incoming product, and annual physical inventories
Manage shipping supplies using a Kanban system
Process & Collaboration
Document and maintain warehouse SOPs
Communicate proactively with production regarding deadlines and material needs
Escalate potential fulfillment issues impacting customer satisfaction
Support cross-training, scheduling, and team coordination when required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems and shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
Knowledge of Kanban, 5S, and Lean manufacturing principles preferred
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
